Now you can finally match the conformer radius to the globe shape when performing an
evisceration procedure. No more need to worry about central
blanching that may cause your closure to become exposed possibly leading to an
extrusion of the implant.
Look at this side view of a steep radius evisceration conformer resting
on a ocular prosthesis with a radius of 44.50 diopters.
Notice how nicely the
conformer fits the shape of the eye, which is very similar to that of an
eviscerated globe.
